About the line
The Saltivska Line (blue line) of the Kharkiv Metro runs from Istorychnyi Muzei to Saltivska and serves 8 stations. The line connects the centre with the Saltivka housing estates, home to several hundred thousand Kharkivites. Transfers to the other lines are at Maidan Konstytutsii, Sportyvna, Istorychnyi Muzei, Universytet, Derzhprom and Metrobudivnykiv.
Stations on the line
The Saltivska Line links the city centre with Saltivka, Kharkiv’s largest residential district. Near Kyivska station the line crosses the Kharkiv river on a fully enclosed metro bridge — a rare example of a metro bridge with solid walls.
